Joses Martin
Vice President, Production
From the time Joses was very young he was pursuing a career in film and television, as a commercial and theatrical actor and by making videos at any opportunity; for class projects, yearbook videos, and school promotional videos. In 2007 Joses received an honours diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Film and Video Program while working in his off-hours on independent productions of his own; including acting as Producer and Assistant Director for a short film called "Better Off Blindfolded", and then stepping into his own by writing, directing, producing, editing and starring in another film called "Bread and Water".
Through his years Joses has fulfilled a wide range of positions to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. He has been a camera operator for live events like The Harvest Moon Festival, The Gathering, Ed Fest, "Off The Wall" (CTS, Miracle Channel) and the daily television series, "Top Story" (CTS), He was a Locations PA on the "Shaw Bundle" commercials, a Cable Puller on "Uh-Oh the Game Show" (YTV) and "The Alberta Film and Television Awards" (A Channel, Star), a Production Assistant on the reality series "X-Weighted" (Slice), a Grip/Set Decorator on the CMT 2007 Christmas Special, and the Floor Director for "Linda MacPhee's Workshop" (PBS, ACCESS, CLT, Knowledge, SCN). As a placement, Joses worked as Assistant to the Producers on the set of "Boot Camp", a 15 million dollar feature in Calgary.
In May 2007 Joses began his career with Mighty Motion Pictures, and so far has Executive Produced the 26 part one-hour interview series called, "Close-Up" and acted as a Director, Production Manager & Assistant Director on the one hour 13 part reality/doc series "A Priest, a Monk and a Rabbi..."
