Joel Loates

Joel Loates, after graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management Degree in 2005, took a fulltime position managing the office of RentToOwnHome . In this position, Joel dealt directly with investors and managed their assets. In a short two and a half year period, the company grew from three real-estate properties to over one hundred, with assets in the range of thirty million dollars. He has also successfully completed numerous real-estate transactions using his own funds as well as independent investor dollars.
In January 2008, while Joel and his wife Nicole welcomed an addition to their family - Nora Avalene Lily Loates - he began to work for Mighty Motion Pictures, taking over the accounting and business affairs of the company. As Joel has truly come to understand the meaning of family and fatherhood, so has he transformed into a film and television man; both of which are necessary skills to carry the vision of such a corporation. In the short time he has been a part of Mighty Motion Pictures, he has worked as post-production supervisor for the 26 part 1 hour series 'Close Up' and worked to secure funding for multiple projects through government agencies such as Alberta Film Development and the Federal Tax Credit.
